Suddenly everyone I know has adorable puppies, and I want one so terribly. It’s all I can think about. There’s this men’s retreat at my church called Beast Feast, and the door prize is the most precious chocolate lab puppy on this planet. Then, when I went to church today, there was a guy in the office with a puppy. The worst part of everyone having adorable baby dogs is that I have to look at my stupid cat every time I go home.

Recently I argued that dogs are way better than cats with my good friend Matt. He seems to think that cats are better because they have night vision. Well, they also pee on your clean laundry and all over your bed. Trust me, I know from experience. Dogs are clearly better. First of all, they can save your life. Second, they are loyal friends, hence the title “Man’s Best Friend.” When I pointed these out to Matt, our friend Daniel decided to search for a story about a cat that saved someone’s life. Apparently when a man was having a heart attack, his cat happened to press the right buttons to reach 911 at exactly the right time. I say it was just good luck.

Olivia, I hate to disagree with ya! I believe cats to be the superior pet to dogs in the sense that they are low maintenance pets. Dogs are high maintenance. Cats have three necessities in life. Food, water and a place to potty. Dogs must be walked, bathed, and have tons more shots to get. Not to mention the slobber, we won’t even GO to the slobber.
I will respect your opinion, however, I will not agree with you.

Its true i have two dogs and they constantly need attention. They eat trash and pee on everything only because they want to mark it theirs buutttt….I still love them to death and they make me smile everyday so there are pros and cons.

You, for some reason, completely disregard that I said that puppies use the restroom in the house much more often than a kitten, or an adult cat. I think you’re trying to justify your position any way possible.. even if it means fooling yourself.

Olivia, You just started a job where you play with dogs all day Saturday. You should be really happy. Tell your friends to bring their dogs to Foxy Pup Grooming and you can play with them too!!
