Laughter and music fills the PAC at the New Faces meeting. Kat Elvrom moves toward the center of the stage with her fellow officers and instructs the potential thespian members to encircle them. Introductions begin and end with Treasurer Darius Moore shouting “Green is what I do.”

The Theater department held a New Faces party Thursday, introducing new students to theater games and compelling them to take part in future productions.

Mission Improvable members Hunter Canedy and Nadley Doerge pose in an artistic stance ready to be unfrozen to show the new students what improv is all about. New students are thrown in the mix with a different game called Numbers. In an attempt to form new bonds the game forces students to form groups of a specific number shouted by an officer.

“Death may be involved” a participant exclaimed as the next game Quest began and the hunt for bizarre objects was on. “Every hole has a sock!” Trevor Callerman proclaimed as Sophie Smith climbed and slipped across the stage to reach Mr. Ferman. As the final item was announced, a picture of everyone’s bare feet, Mr. Ferman added “I want to see toe jam!”
