Key to My Door
When you can’t see straight and you’re wondering out late, you have a safe place to go. You have a safe person you know. We need some one to heal you and let you in. When you need some one who sees more than the surface of your skin. Some one who’ll mend your wounds when you get hurt. Some one willing enough to give you their only shirt. When you need some one who will always care or just want some body you know will be there. Some one will can always make you smile. A person who won’t judge or put you through trial. You have a person who can be strong, who can help you forget when you have done wrong. Some who can hold you when you get cold. Some one who will save you from the lies you’ve been told. Some one who is impressed by simple things like your eyes. Your personal hero, to run off the bad guys. When you need some one who’s always helped you before, you don’t even have to ask, you have the key to my door.
YOUR UPLOADS: A Poem

BEAUTIFUL SMILE
There’s this girl I don’t know, Who accepted my friend request.
We never talked in person. I guess I’m an acquaintance at best.
She seems like a normal girl. Her favorite color is even pink.
I bet if she watched the Titanic, She’d cry when it would sink.
She said she likes Grey’s Anatomy. Of all the doctor shows,
In my personal opinion, I think that one blows.
I hear she likes comedy films, And the ones with romance.
Being a teenage girl, She probably likes to dance.
She likes reading too. She says she’s read several books.
Plus, if I might add, She’s not too bad with looks.
Now this is all original. Its basic stuff to mention,
But there was one thing, That caught my attention.
In every picture she posted, She wore a blank face.
For such a pretty girl, This seemed a disgrace.
I asked her what was wrong, When we were both online.
I guess she met a guy, Who was more like a swine.
I told her she’d find some one good. Not to let one ruin the whole bunch,
Though I doubt I really helped. At least, I have that hunch.
In a last attempt to help, I said, “I bet you have a beautiful smile.”
That was the last I said to her, For quite a long while.
For the next few months, I didn’t hear anything new.
She still didn’t have a smile. She might have still been blue.
She recently spoke again. Her mood seemed like it changed.
Hopefully her outlook, On us guys has rearranged.
Besides just talking like she was happy, Something else changed that I missed.
Do you want to know what it was? Let’s go through the list.
She still loves to read. Still likes Greys Anatomy.
Favorite color still pink, And still likes comedy.
I asked what her favorite music was. Expecting to hear an up beat kind.
She said she likes them all. I might as well have been blind.
In her profile picture, Off to the side.
I saw what changed. This small sign of pride.
I saw what I waited for, For quite a while.
Right below those green eyes, Was a beautiful smile.
