“I like how stripes and denim look together, it’s usually not common, the outfit was going to just be black and white but I added denim to it and added a pop to it.”

“Oh yeah, it takes three to five tries mixing and matching each night.”

“[NBA player] Russell Westbrook, because he’s like the fashion god, he puts stuff together that no one else thinks of”

What do you want to do after high school?

“I want to be an accountant and I want to work where I can dress up everyday.”

Where do you like to shop?

“Thrift stores, Plato’s Closet, also Old Navy, American Apparel, and Jackthreads.com is where I do all of my online shopping; they have really good sales.”

How would you describe your style?

“Building blocks. I take other people’s style and put into my own basically, I find things I like in other people’s style and put it into my own. My closet consists of a lot of pre-worn things. It’s like a wannabe hipster almost.”

What are your hobbies?

“I’m in football, track, student council, and choir.”

“Fashion is conveying your comfort to others, so as long as you are comfortable and confident, you are fashionable.”

Shopping advice?

“Don’t be afraid to try and put things together and don’t mix and don’t match too much.”

What are your favorite trends of the moment (for guys or girls)?

“I like how people mix patterns, I think that’s really cool now, and [monochromatic] shoes.”

“My favorite song right now is Rip Tide by Vance Joy because of the rhythm and instruments used.”
