To celebrate the launch of Mission: Improvable’s third year (first show: September 9th.) I’ve compiled a list of the five things I’ve missed the most about improv.

1. I miss my uniform. Every morning before a show when I slip on my white dress shirt, put my tie around my neck and lace up my red converse sneakers, I just feel right. And the feeling gets even better as I roam the halls with my fellow troupe members and we resemble the least intimidating gang ever.

2. I miss coming up with an opener. We like to start out every show with an opening skit and we usually come up with thirty awful ideas throughout the week while settling on a random one we thought up 20 minutes before the show starts. I’ve got this one idea; it starts off with Hunter walking onstage eating this sand which…

3. I miss eating out with the troupe. When we’re all sitting around Freebirds in our uniforms, it always reminds me of the opening scene of Reservoir Dogs, except instead of talking about Madonna, we usually talk about…Oh, wait, we do talk about Madonna a lot.

4. I miss pre-show rehearsals. It’s where we basically play games to get us ready to play more games. And it’s almost always funnier than what happens during the show. Which kind of a bummer for the rest of you guys.

5. I miss people yelling out “Narnia!” when we ask for suggestions. Yeah, I said it.

You are confusing you said 5 in the headlin, but ten in the first paragraph. Are five of your things a secret?
