I think having red and black shirts are just fine. I don’t understand why we have to have blue or green or any color shirts for spirit wear. Don’t we want to show as much pride in our school as all the other highschools? I mean, it’s okay to have different color shirts every once in a while, but I say we stick to our school colors.

We’re starting something diffrent. If we’re Legacy and we’re starting a legacy.. Then why can’t we be diffrent. We , Legacy students, take pride in our school sports, choir, band, everything that can win we’re proud of, cant that be enough? we have stickers on the backs of our cars, our letterman jackets….Just because not ALL of our shirts aren’t red and black doesn’t mean we don’t take pride in our school. It just means we’re trend starters.

Agreed. I thought the color scheme for the Viva La Legacy shirts was pretty ugly compared to a red and black alternative. In fact, I’d kind of appreciate a shirt with a cool bronco on it, or something similar. Or a few shirts without the lame puns/clichés. Red’s a cool color. Partially because it’s tendency to increase adrenaline makes it arguably the sexiest color, and because it’s much nicer to look at than Mansfield’s (and Worley’s) ugly yellow. Why diversify school shirt color schemes? I thought that was what normal shirts were for. We’re starting something different by diversifying our color schemes, and it sucks. “Would I really want every spirit shirt I own to be red and black?” Yes. “Why cant just be legacy?” We can, let’s start with decent shirts. “faithful to your shcool?” prove it by supporting the campaign for decent spirit wear.

actually, the student media has red and black shirts, the soccer team has red and black shirts, the senior shirts are red and black, the cross country shirts were red and black, and i would hate for every single shirt i have from legacyy was red and black. why do we have to be like other schools? why cant just be legacy? we are starting something different with having different colored shirts.

I really do not want to wake up amd open my draw and see all red and black shirts. I am faithful to my shcool but I can show my school spirt still in different colors as long as I am supporting my school.

Well would you really want EVERY school spirit shirt you own to be red or black? I mean, I understand the need to mix it up every once in a while.
