Kris Stroud
Senior Chris Stroud carries a couch on sale to his favorite section of Home Goods.
When Kris Stroud walks into Legacy, he goes through his morning routine of talking to various friends and teachers. Making his way from the front of the school to the second floor then to the third were he makes his final stop at first block. Kris is a senior with a lot of responsibility as he is the senior class vice president.
“It is necessary for me to be social as I have to know my class and what they want as a whole,” Stroud said.
Kris is very active in Student Council with a more serious focus on senior activities including the Senior Pep Rally, Bronco bazaar and Prom. He also participated in Homecoming and Pink Fest.
“Stuco can be very stressful at times, but I love being involved with the school and everything that goes on behind the curtain,” Stroud said.
On top of being senior class vice president and an active member of student council, Kris also holds a job at Home Goods in Mansfield. For over a year he has worked at the store, clocking in at over 800 hours of labor.
“Home Goods has been good for me,” Stroud said. “I have learned many different things and made many friendships along the way. I would say that I have grown emotionally attached to all of whom I work with and all I have accomplished there.”
In fall of 2010, Kris plans on attending the University of Houston. Although he is not completely certain that is where he will end up, U of H is a place he would like to be.

Great story! Kris is one of my favorite people in the world!
