Softball Remains Undefeated Through Playoffs

Varsity player and sophomore Savannah Stech advises her teammates where to position themselves on the field. She is proud of her teammates for working hard, and earning the title of district champions.

She feels as if making it to playoffs proves people wrong about their previous opinions. Stech believes the team can advance to region and possibly state.

“It feels great [to be undefeated] because I feel like we are invincible,” Stech said. “It’s a great feeling to have because we worked hard for it.”

In order to advance further in playoffs the team faces Denton Ryan on May 7. To move ahead in additional rounds players with have to work together and perform their best in hopes to pull of a win.

“I love the team,” Stech said. “We’ve been playing so good and without them we wouldn’t have gone anywhere.”

Stech advices incoming freshman to do their best and not to let mistakes effect how they play and work hard for everything they do.

“Softball has always been a part of who I am. I have played since I was three,” Stech said. “It feels great [to be on varsity] because I do feel like the best.”
