Sophomores Shawna Mosby and Devon Irby return to the locker room for a post-game talk from coach Rachel Ryan after a win against Lake Ridge. Coach Ryan talks about what they did right and what they did wrong and assures them they will work to get even better.

Team captain Shawna Mosby shows optimism that they’ll continue winning games.

“We got off to a good start, but we will still continue to work hard and improve to win a lot more games,” Mosby said.

Sophomore Devon Irby shows confidence they’ll win district because of the amount of talent on the team.

“Our team is full of good players all we have to do is continue to work hard, and we can definitely win district at the end of the year,” Irby said.

Mosby thinks the main struggle  with how the season has gone so far is team chemistry.

“It’s hard to work well as a team when there are freshman, sophomores and juniors all on one team. Not everyone knows everybody else, so it’s hard to work well together. We try to fix that problem everyday in practice,” Mosby said.

JV Volleyball upcoming games:
