The varsity tennis team took on the Lake Ridge Eagles Tue, October 16. This game would decide if the Broncos made it to regionals.

“I felt like we would make it,” freshman varsity player Dillon Jones said. “We’re a good team. It’s hard to beat us.”

At the end of the tournament, the Broncos dominated the Eagles with a final match count of 19 wins to zero. Due to this win, the Broncos now have a seat in the 4A Regional Tournament Meet.

“It was great,” sophomore Justin Ukeje said. “Knowing that we’re moving on just feels amazing, and knowing that I contributed to the win is the best feeling. It can’t be described.”

The Regionals Tournament Meet will be held Fri October 26 in Grapevine.

“We’re going to do just fine,” Head Varsity Coach Chad Redwine said. “I know we’ll perform beyond expectations this year in playoffs.”

Good story. I like how it uses different people. Need to be a little more in depth.
