5 Halloween Costume Ideas

One simple sheet can transform someone from a natural being to a supernatural being.

With Halloween right around the corner, if you don’t have an idea for a costume yet, it can be difficult and expensive to cram in a full blown costume. Try these ideas for easy, cheap and fast ideas.

Mummy
You’ll need toilet paper, lots and lots. You might want a white body suit or just white clothing on before you start. Wrap yourself up from head to toe in toilet paper, maybe avoiding an eye.

Zombie
Fake blood and some old clothes that you don’t want anymore can be easily turned into a Halloween costume. If you can’t get any fake blood, go here for substitutes. You’ll want to rip some of the clothing, just a little for effect. Take the fake blood and smear it all over the clothing. Do the same for yourself. Make it look like you were in a bad accident. Walk with a limp too.

Ghost
Take an old sheet you don’t want anymore, cut two holes for your eyes, and trim the bottom so you don’t trip over it. Add some black eyeshadow around your eyes so when you put on the sheet it will be a tad scarier. It may be the oldest and cheesiest, but other trick-or-treaters will get a kick out of it.

Hobo
Get a pair of baggy pants, an old flannel shirt, a beanie hat. You’ll want to have stains or dirt on the clothing and rip them just a tad. Put dirt on your face too. Now take a long, firm stick and tie cloth at the end of it to make a bag. Just throw some stuff in it then you’re done.

Sheriff
Being in Texas, you probably have a little bit of country in you. Cowboy boots, cowboy hats and big belt buckles will do the trick. Just throw all of that on with a flannel shirt and blue jeans and you will be set. Don’t forget to pin a yellow paper star onto your shirt.
