Playing video games, sleeping all day and eating everything in the pantry could get boring after three months straight. The summer of 2015 holds some of the most anticipated movies of the past decade. Whether you choose to see a new motion picture, comic or movie sequel, this list should help you decide what edge a film has over another to fire up your summer.

San Andreas

After a massive earthquake strikes San Andreas, a pilot begins a voyage across California to find his daughter. Starring Dwayne Johnson as Ray Gaines, this film will resemble the aftermath of devastating natural disasters with crumbling buildings, shredded land masses and city demolition on May 29.

Jurassic World

Nearly 22 years after the Jurassic Park series, John Hammond attempts to revive the park’s popularity by adding a new attraction. Starring Chris Pratt as Owen Grady, the plan to re-spark the park goes horribly wrong while new species of dinosaurs genetically modified by research scientists dominates the safety of the park on June 12.

Terminator: Genisys

A human resistance leader against Skynet, John Connor, sends Kyle Reese to protect his mother, Sarah Connor, from a terminator assassin. Little does he know, the timeline was altered and Mrs. Connor became a skilled fighter with a terminator guardian. A series of hazardous enemies and strange allies confronts Reese as he fights to reset the future. Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger as Terminator, this film involves a mixture of past and future warfare and time travel through human-like robots on July 1.

Ant-Man

Armed with a suit that can vary in size and strength a con man, Scott Lang, attempts to help his mentor, Michael Douglas, preserve the secret to his suit and a plan to save the world. Starring Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, this movie rationalizes the abilities of an ant to a superhuman in the typical plot of a lab’s scientific breakthrough of a substance, or just another one of Marvel’s superhero origin stories on July 17.

Fantastic Four

After a former friend betrayed this superhero team of four, they had to figure out how to handle their newly found abilities in a new and dangerous universe to protect the Earth. Starring Miles Teller as Mr. Fantastic, Michael B. Jordan as the Human Torch, Kate Mara as the Invisible Woman and Jamie Bell as the Thing, this film portrays how well four superhumans work together. They will combine their powers of elasticity, invisibility, pyrokinesis and superhuman strength to fight their enemy Dr. Victor Von Doom on August 7.
