Juniors Allison Bao and Makayla Shanahan are currently competing against each other for Senior class president. Most of the other positions for all the classification classes, such as each Treasurer, Secretary and Representative have already been taken with no competition.

“I’m hoping to get friends together to get outside of our own opinions to start events and get ideas so that everyone can be involved,” Shanahan said.

All juniors are free to vote for next year’s Senior Class President in the JROTC room during all lunch periods on May 9, 10 and 11.

“I have great ideas for our upcoming senior year,” Bao said. “Student council has been a major part of my life since fifth grade.”
