With the leaves changing colors and the weather slowly getting cooler, it means Halloween has finally arrived. Here’s the best ways to celebrate the Halloween season.

Go trick-or-treating
You can never be too old for free candy. Trick-or-treating can be a great way to bring out your inner child again while getting a lot of candy. Grab a couple of friends, dress up and have some fun. Decorate your house for other trick-or-treaters around the neighborhood.

Plan a Halloween party
Planning a Halloween-themed party can be a creative way to get all your friends together to celebrate. Dress up, set out some candy corn and decorate your house to get in the Halloween spirit. Set up themed games and host a costume contest for your guests. Parties can be a fun way to celebrate the Halloween season.

Carve pumpkins
Visiting a pumpkin patch and picking out a pumpkin to carve serves as a fun and inexpensive way to spend Halloween. If you plan on staying in for the night, this can be a great way to celebrate. Spend the evening carving and setting the pumpkins out in time for the trick-or-treaters to see.

Haunted houses
If you’re the adventurous type who enjoys a good scare, haunted houses can be a great way to get in the Halloween spirit. Get a group of friends together and make plans to visit one. Head to one of the local haunted houses and prepare to be scared.
