Students often do not know where to start when looking for a job. Over and over again people recommend applying to restaurants and fast foods places. Instead of applying to jobs which can get boring after a while, check out this list of places to apply outside of the usual fast food and restaurant chains.

Party City

This job offers experience working with people to help them create unforgettable moments. The jobs range from cashier to sales associate. The average salary starts at $8.43 an hour and they begin hiring at age 16.

YMCA

The YMCA strives to not only make a difference with their customers, but within the community as well. Many jobs include working with children and teenagers in many fun, creative activities. The average salary starts at $7.25 an hour and they begin hiring at age 16.
