Chamber Choir will perform their pre-festival concert on April 24. The performance will be in the PAC at 7 p.m. The choir, including freshman Emily Ledesma, has rehearsed the choral pieces since August.
“It’s the only time you’ll get to hear the songs and it’s only 20 minutes long,” Ledesma said. “You’ll get to hear the hard work we’ve done throughout the year and the dedication we have through our choral pieces.”
April 2017 Chamber Choir performed at the Festival di Voce at Dallas Baptist University. They won and were named Grand Festival Champion. At the festival’s award ceremony, the winner from the previous year performs an exhibition concert. The pre-festival concert gives the choir practice for the show at DBU.
“It’s Chamber Choir’s final concert and you’ll get to see some amazing work,” Ledesma said. “I highly recommend, you won’t regret it.”
